James McAvoy, star of the new movie ‘Wanted’ has revealed that one of the reasons he signed on to star opposite Angelina Jolie was for the opportunity to be involved in fight scenes with her.The duo team up in the flick that opens on Friday (June 27) in the US, with McAvoy telling moviefone.com that he was nervous about sharing an on-screen kiss with his co-star.
“I’m always nervous about doing the kissing scenes - they’re never comfortable, they’re always kind of weird, they’re not enjoyable, do you know what I mean?” he said.
“But the fight scenes, getting beaten up by her all the time is fine, that was fun. That’s one of the reasons I did the job, is to do all those scenes.”
The 29-year-old Scottish actor was also asked if he has ever looked himself up on Google, like his character Wesley does in the movie.
“Four years ago I was Googling myself and I uncovered a very, very bad review for a film that I was in, and it targeted me, so I haven’t Googled myself since. I was a proper victim of my own narcissism.”
